Our Story Mayalu began as a personal journey — from someone who barely drank coffee to a space where every cup tells a story of culture, curiosity, and connection. The name itself is deeply personal: “Maya” is my mom’s name, and “Lulu” is my pet name for my daughter. Together, they became Mayalu, which means “sweetheart.” With roots in Nepal and experiences across multiple cities, we wanted to create a place that blends heritage with the influences of the world I’ve lived in. Mayalu is a reflection of that journey: thoughtful, evolving, and deeply personal.
