About the Festival

Where Tea Meets Community

Launched in 2024, the DSM Tea Festival is an annual event in Des Moines, initiated by Mayalu. This vibrant festival brings together passionate tea vendors from across the region, offering tastings of rare and beloved blends, educational workshops, and a vibrant community atmosphere.


This festival is a bridge between traditions — honoring the deep roots of tea culture while fostering new connections in the heart of Des Moines.

  • Option to join classes and tastings (may have additional cost)

Early Access
Early Entry: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
$25 per person
Includes everything in General Admission, plus:​

  • One hour early entry with a smaller crowd

  • Free tea samples inside your tote bag
